Touchpad problem: ASUS HID FTE100* DKMS driver

I have a hardware problem. The touchpad of my asus laptop does not work because there is no driver up to the kernel 4.10 or newer. I have tried to install a driver that works on other distributions... but not in Chakra.
This is the driver: https://github.com/vlasenko/hid-asus-dkms
Do you suggest any solution?

Hi javierinsitu
I've created a ccr package from this driver.
It's adepted from AUR.

The scoure compiles but I have no Asus laptop.
Therefore, I can not say for sure whether it works.

Nice to see you in the forums as well javierinsitu.

kudos to @frankes for making this driver available in CCR so quickly after you requested it. Hopefully it will work for you. You can use either octopi or chaser to install it:

chaser install hid-asus-dkms-git

Fwiw, the kernel upgrade is the next scheduled one in Chakra so your touchpad will then be supported by default!
